1) First step is to visit the Open Door Academy to see if the provision is suitable for your child and they feel they can attend.

Please speak to your SEN Officer of Local Authority link person about a place or we can do this part for you.


The Open Door Academy offers tutoring in a variety of subjects including Math, Science and English?


All tutors @ The Open Door Academy are qualified teachers or have advanced degrees in their subject areas. All tutors are highly qualified and experienced in their fields.

All support staff have experience working with students in school settings.


The Open Door Academy works with students from KS 2 to KS 4.


Students will work at the levels provided by their host school or LA. We can cater for Entry level to Level 2 (GCSE) @ KS3 or 4.


Students arriving without having been in formal education for a period of time may be assessed to determine a suitable level to access education.  All our assessors are qualified to Level 7 and above and hold the necessary qualifications to assess students.
